If you’re getting married or forming a civil partnership and wish to travel on your honeymoon in your new name, you can apply for a new passport by completing a PD2 form and sending it with your current passport.

You can apply for your new passport in your new name up to three months prior to the date of your ceremony. The passport will be post-dated to the date of the marriage or civil partnership and cannot be used for travel beforehand.
