Statutory ceremony
A Statutory ceremony is a no fuss ceremony at the 91ÖÆƬ³§register office.
This ceremony is a simple, no fuss ceremony for those that wish to ‘just be married’.
These are held at the Register office at Worcester, the venue on your notices of marriage or civil partnership should be ‘91ÖÆƬ³§Register Office, Worcester’.
These ceremonies are held in an office and not a ceremony suite.
The ceremony includes:
- choice of declaratory words
- choice of promises
- choice of contracting words
- choice of ring vows
Due to the nature of the statutory ceremony there is no opportunity for music.
There is a maximum number of 6 people only which consists of:
- 2 registrars
- the couple
- 2 witnesses
