Investigations are continuing into a landslip affecting the B4204 at Rochford.

This landslip occurred in February 2026 and since then, the road has remained temporarily closed to ensure public safety, while we work closely with our construction partners, and specialist design and geotechnical teams, to identify a safe and effective solution. 

Once we have gathered this information, and investigated the findings, we will then be in a position to reinstate the route.
