Healthy Start and free low cost vitamins
Healthy Start
Expectant parents that are more than 10 weeks pregnant or families that have a child under 4, may be entitled to help to buy healthy food and milk via a Healthy Start card that can be used in UK shops.
This includes cow鈥檚 milk and infant formula based on cow鈥檚 milk, fruit and vegetables, pulses and free vitamins for parents and free vitamins for babies and young children. See:
Low cost vitamins
If you are not eligible for the Healthy Start card, you can still collect low cost vitamins from your Local Family Hub. Vitamin tablets for adults are 拢1.00 per pack. Baby and young children drops are 拢1.80 per pack. The vitamin drops are suitable for children up to 5 years of age. Please have the exact change. See:

Glowing Mamma exercise classes and walks
Exercise classes are available for pregnant women and mums after their baby is born, with free sessions for vulnerable families facing challenges such as financial difficulties, mental health or social issues. Referrals can be made by a midwife, health visitor or Family Hub, see:
