Every child in a 91ÖÆƬ³§school now has access to a suite of assistive technology to support with learning.
91ÖÆƬ³§schools have access to:
- Dolphin Easy Reader
- Scanning Pens (trial for 60 days)
- 120 Clicker licenses
This technology is accessed by the school.
Available technology
Dolphin Easy Reader
Access to Dolphin Easy Reader has been secured free of charge for every 91ÖÆƬ³§school child until September 2027. Schools are supported directly by Dolphin.
Scanning pens
A free six-week trial is available directly through the supplier. In addition, the programme has invested in a bank of devices to enable extended trials and loans, reducing the need for schools to purchase equipment before assessing its impact. These are managed by Regency and Chadsgrove schools.
Clicker licences
The programme holds a stock of 120 licences. These are being targeted through a data-driven allocation exercise, while retaining some flexibility for discretionary allocation where appropriate. Access is managed through Regency and Chadsgrove schools.
