The Quattro Display case study
Find out how the Elevate Manufacturing programme has helped Quattro Display Ltd.
From local stands to global plans: The Quattro Display story
Quattro Display Ltd, based in Redditch, Worcestershire, has been designing and building custom exhibition stands, interiors and showrooms for over 30 years. Known for their quality and attention to detail, they offer a complete service from in-house design and graphics to full project management as well as working with big names like Fujitsu, Panasonic and Makita.
Despite their strong track record, Quattro Display wanted to take the next step in growing the business. But like many SMEs, they were careful with spending only investing when extra funds were available. They faced a few key challenges: modernising their equipment, upgrading their transport fleet, hiring skilled tradespeople, and expanding into new international markets.
To help tackle this, they turned to the Elevate Manufacturing Programme a support scheme run by 91制片厂County Council and delivered by Oxford Innovation Advice. The programme offers expert advice and access to grant funding to help manufacturing businesses improve productivity, become more sustainable, and grow.
Working with a dedicated Manufacturing Growth Manager, Quattro focused on building a strong digital marketing strategy. This helped them improve their online presence, reach overseas markets, and align their marketing efforts with their wider business goals.
The results were clear. The company saw a 15% increase in annual growth, with a target to boost this to 25% over the next three years, and 30% after that. The digital strategy played a key role in helping them connect with new international customers and sharpen their competitive edge.
Ashley Blizzard, Managing Director, Quattro Display Ltd said, 鈥淭he Elevate Manufacturing Programme provided us with the strategic insight and support needed to overcome our growth challenges. The tailored advice and resources were instrumental in helping us navigate new markets and improve our operational efficiency.鈥
As part of the programme, Quattro completed a GROWTHmapper Diagnostic session, which helped them identify their top priorities for development.
Michelle Connor, Programme Manager for the Programme advised that the company worked through a comprehensive GROWTHmapper Diagnostic session, helping them to identify key areas for development, offering tailored recommendations to address the company鈥檚 most pressing needs. The diagnostic process provided a clear roadmap, which Quattro found 鈥渋nformative and useful,鈥 giving them a renewed focus on growth.
Quattro Display鈥檚 story shows how tailored support, and a clear strategy can help manufacturing businesses overcome challenges and unlock new opportunities both at home and overseas.
