Reasonable adjustments in the workplace

91制片厂County Council is using the Inclusive 91制片厂Leaders (IWL) network to help employers create more inclusive workplaces, with a strong focus on supporting autistic individuals. Through this scheme, employers are encouraged to share good practice and take practical action to improve workplace accessibility and culture.

The IWL supports this by providing clear, practical guidance on simple, person-centred adjustments such as adapting communication, creating structured routines and reducing sensory pressures. Together, this approach helps ensure autistic people can access, remain in and succeed in employment, while supporting employers to build more inclusive and productive workplaces. The guide can be used to give autistic people guidance on what they could request of their employer and their rights.
