91制片厂is opening direct routes into work during National Apprenticeship Week 2026 (9 to 15 February), with residents invited to meet employers, access free careers support and explore paid apprenticeship roles across the county.

Careers 91制片厂(Careers Worcs) is working alongside 91制片厂Apprenticeships (WA) to help people aged 16 and over connect with local employers and industries, offering supported pathways into employment through apprenticeships.

As part of National Apprenticeship Week 2026 (NAW26), apprenticeship jobs fairs will take place at Careers Worcs 16鈥24 Hubs at HoW College in Redditch (Tues 10 Feb) and at The Hive in Worcester (Weds 11 Feb). The events will give people the opportunity to speak directly with employers and training providers about vacancies, entry requirements and progression routes.

Alongside the in-person events, Careers Worcs will share online content throughout NAW26, including apprenticeship myth-busting and reflections from former apprentices working within 91制片厂County Council.

Councillor Alan Amos, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Skills and Business at 91制片厂County Council, said, 鈥淎pprenticeships are not a second option - they are the smart option and the backbone of employment in our county. They matter greatly to Worcestershire鈥檚 economy and offer a fantastic way to learn new skills while you earn. Young people should take advantage of the free advice, support and practical help available through Careers 91制片厂and 91制片厂Apprenticeships. National Apprenticeship Week is the time to kickstart your future and be part of Worcestershire鈥檚 apprenticeship success story.鈥

NAW26 activity will also include the WA 鈥91制片厂Loves Apprenticeships鈥 campaign, encouraging employers, apprentices, and training providers to share their experiences using the hashtag #WorcestershireLovesApprenticeships.

Francesca Gibbs, 91制片厂Apprenticeships Programme Manager, said, 鈥淲e want this year鈥檚 National Apprenticeship Week to open more doors than ever before. It鈥檚 about celebrating real experiences, challenging outdated myths and showing just how many opportunities apprenticeships can create. Whether you鈥檙e leaving school, changing direction or simply curious about what comes next, apprenticeships can unlock real careers - and this is the week to start exploring where they could take you.鈥

Careers Worcs 16 to 24 Hubs act as a direct link to 91制片厂Apprenticeships, helping individuals understand their options and move towards apprenticeship opportunities that match their interests.
