Simply Careers is a digital platform from Early Careers 91制片厂that has been developed for secondary school students alongside the Careers Enterprise company (CEC) and 91制片厂County Council鈥檚 Skills & Employability service.

The site helps secondary school students discover career possibilities, taking them on an interactive 鈥榡ourney鈥 across Worcestershire. Along their 鈥榡ourney鈥 they can unlock six district zones packed with detailed insight into key local industries, and through short quizzes, videos, questionnaires and fact-packs, students get to explore real-world job profiles, labour market information, as well as career tips from some of Worcestershire鈥檚 biggest employers.

The site has been refreshed, ready for a new academic term, with more interactive elements, and even more local content.

91制片厂County Councillor Alan Amos, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Skills and Business said, 鈥淭he Simply Careers platform is a great digital tool for supporting careers education in schools. It outlines to students the full scope of careers opportunities out there in our county, giving them the push they need to explore what waiting for them once they complete their school life. I want to see them go on to be employed locally, supporting and enhancing our economic future, and this is an excellent tool to help them make informed decisions.鈥

Early Careers 91制片厂is the county鈥檚 dedicated primary and secondary school careers programme. Working with the CEC they help schools deliver quality careers education and to develop and strengthen links with local employers.

Matt Tope, Early Careers 91制片厂Programme Manager added, 鈥淲e鈥檙e really proud of Simply Careers and the support, insight, and opportunities it offers 91制片厂schools and their students. As a digital tool it is easy for schools to access and implement into their curriculum and helps them to achieve some of their legislative requirements. With an emphasis in the coming year on students having work experience across the whole of their secondary school life, Simply Careers gives them access to all the information they need to take their future steps.鈥
