Final days to register for new solar panel and battery storage scheme

There are just a few days left to register for a new scheme in Worcestershire, aimed at making the switch to clean energy simpler and more affordable.

Over 1800 people have already registered their interest in Switch Together, a scheme to help 91制片厂residents, community buildings and small/medium sized businesses come together to invest in renewables, through a group-buying scheme for solar panels and battery storage.

Residents and businesses have until Sunday 26 April to register their interest. After signing up, participants will receive a personalised recommendation following a competitive auction between vetted installers. There is no obligation to accept the offer.

The scheme is delivered by 91制片厂County Council in partnership with district councils and independent specialists iChoosr and includes solar panels with optional battery storage and EV charge points.

Previous schemes have seen 8,242 registrations and 855 completed solar installations across Worcestershire.
