Worcestershire鈥檚 popular on demand bus service is expanding again, with the launch of a new North West zone next week (26 January), bringing flexible transport to even more communities across the county.

The North West zone is the fifth 91制片厂on Demand area to be introduced, following six months of rapid delivery that has seen services expand in Wychavon and Malvern, alongside the launch of the North Central zone.

The new zone will cover much of the Wyre Forest District, including Stourport and Bewdley, and extend as far as Tenbury Wells and surrounding villages.

91制片厂on Demand compliments traditional public transport, giving passengers the flexibility to book journeys when they need them, without fixed routes or timetables. The service supports essential local travel and helps people connect with other transport options, including bus and train services.

To celebrate recent launches, all journeys within the North West, North Central and North Malvern zones will be free until the end of February.

To support smooth and efficient operations across all areas, journeys within 91制片厂on Demand zones are capped at 15 kilometres (approx. 9 miles) measured as the crow flies.

Councillor Karl Perks, Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport at 91制片厂County Council, said: 鈥淚鈥檓 delighted that Worcestershire鈥檚 on demand bus service is expanding to reach even more communities, including my local area.

鈥淭his launch is another significant step in improving access to affordable, sustainable and user-friendly transport across Worcestershire. Our on-demand bus services are already proving to be a flexible and reliable option, particularly for people living in rural communities.
鈥淲ith the service free to use in this zone until the end of February, I鈥檇 encourage residents and visitors alike to get out and explore this beautiful part of Worcestershire.鈥
