Step into Our Future is Ancestral: Praying with Our Feet, a powerful exhibition at The Hive celebrating resistance, resilience, and connection. Join us for a workshop to find out more about the photographer, reflect and ask yourself, through a series of workshop activities: what values will guide our future—and what part will you play?

Inspired by Brazil’s first Indigenous Women’s March, Marche de Mulheres, this showcase unites striking photography by Maria Clara Belchior, alongside evocative poetry to honour women’s voices, bodies, and roles as guardians of land and life.

Journey through three acts: encounter the strength of Indigenous women, explore the dialogue between ancestral pasts and modern futures, and reflect on the ongoing fight for environmental justice and human rights. Set against the dynamic backdrop of Brasília and rooted in enduring cultural traditions, the exhibition invites you to witness survival, protest, and hope.

Through creative responses from 91ÖÆƬ³§poets, discover the deep interconnection between global communities and shared environmental challenges.
