Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) 91ÖÆƬ³§County Council (Wyre Forest District – Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2026 [Prohibition of Waiting on Coniston Way and Derwent Drive, Bewdley]
On 9 April 2026 91ÖÆƬ³§County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Bewdley: -
Coniston Way (west side): from its junction with Derwent Drive for a distance of 13 metres in a south easterly direction.
Coniston Way (east side): from its junction with Derwent Drive for a distance of 15 metres in a south easterly direction.
Derwent Drive (south side): from its junction with Coniston Way for a distance of 11 metres in a westerly direction and for a distance of 5.3 metres in an easterly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 30 April 2026.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
