Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) 91ÖÆƬ³§County Council (Wyre Forest District – Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2026 [Prohibition of Waiting on Whitville Close and A442 Franche Road, Kidderminster]
On 16 April 202 91ÖÆƬ³§County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Kidderminster: -
Whitville Close (south side): from its junction with A442 Franche Road for a distance of 23.5 metres in an easterly direction.
Whitville Close (north side): from its junction with A442 Franche Road for a distance of 18 metres in an easterly direction.
A442 Franche Road (east side): from its junction with Whitville Close for a distance of 15 metres in a northerly direction and for a distance of 15 metres in a southerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 7 May 2026.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
